Dire Need
Housing in-affordability is driven by a combination of factors fueled by decades of cuts to social housing, the rise of housing as a speculative investment, and loose rental market regulations that enable predatory practices. Greed-driven cost increases, restrictive government regulations, and limited housing development further constrain supply. Additionally, high immigration without adequate infrastructure planning adds pressure, creating a cycle of rising costs and affordability challenges for many.
Limits within current models of social assistance
Current affordable housing strategies often fail due to unrealistic expectations and ineffective systems. Relying on the for-profit market to create affordable homes is flawed, as businesses cannot sustainably operate at a loss. Governments also exacerbate the issue by funneling funds into traditional avenues that caused the crisis instead of supporting innovative, sustainable solutions. Additionally, many charities lack the efficiency, resources, or scale to address housing needs effectively. These shortcomings perpetuate systemic failures and stall progress toward equitable housing solutions.

We provide food-sharing initiatives, skill-building programs to enhance personal and professional growth, and financial literacy workshops to help individuals manage their finances more effectively. Our building materials are designed to prioritize sustainability at every step. They require less energy to produce, reducing their environmental footprint, and their efficient design lowers the effort and manpower needed for construction.
